Die Vorlage für die Limited Editon ist Roy Rogers eigene OM-45 Deluxe. Es wurde eine Auflage von 84 Instrumenten mit einem Korpus aus erstklassigem East Indian Rosewood und einer Decke aus Adirondack Spruce gebaut.
Diese Palisander OM ist die #59 von 84 und befindet sich in hervorragendem Zustand - nur minimale Spielspuren sind auf dem Korpus zu sehen. Die Saitenlage ist perfekt für Flatpicking und FIngerstyle. Eine Empfehlung sowohl für Sammler als auch für Player!
Roy Rogers was one of the biggest stars of the singing cowboy era, and in 2006 Martin Guitars paid tribute to his legendary career in film and music by releasing a run of eighty-four Roy Rogers OM-45s hand-signed by Roy "Dusty" Rogers Jr., his son. It has glorious round, rich, deep low-end to go with warm, rock-solid midrange and lush, sparkling trebles. It has dreadnought-like fullness, but it sounds more sculpted than a D-45, and it has more midrange presence and less bass boom. It handles a flatpick and fingers with equal aplomb, and it remains balanced and clear despite its complex, lively overtone profile.
