John Mayer is probably one of the most famous guitarists and musicians of our time. His acoustic sound has always been characterised by guitars from C. F. MARTIN & Co. In close co-operation between John Mayer and Martin Guitars, a limited signature model was created. In addition to this hand-signed OM-45, John and Martin have decided to produce the OM-JM.

This signature model is based on an OM-28, and Engelmann spruce was chosen for the top instead of Sitka. Engelmann sounds a little softer and warmer, and therefore suits John Mayer's style better. The neck width is 42.8 mm or 1 11/16" - a more familiar feel for many electric guitarists than the 44.5 or 45 mm of most steel strings. The OMJM is visually enhanced by the abalone soundhole rosette and custom fingerboard inlays including signature at the 20th fret.

The ‘Fishman Gold Plus Natural I’ pickup system, reduced to the essentials, is already installed. The OMJM John Mayer Signature receives a custom label in consecutive numbering and comes in a very high-quality case including JM embroidery.
