Equipped with premium woods, this Martin 000 comes in the 14 fret neck-body transition version. The choice of wood can be seen and heard visually, but above all in the sound - a very inspiring instrument. The short scale length is typical of the OOO. The neck profile with the 44.4 mm nut width is also comfortable. The woods in combination with the construction support fingerstyle and flatpicking - also excellently suited as a solo instrument in the ensemble. Koa in particular has a wonderful warmth when the attack is held back, but focusses the tone when the right hand is used more strongly.
The enormous experience of Martin Guitars is particularly evident in the instruments from the Custom Shop. The interaction of the woods and the construction parameters is perfect.
