c.f. martin & co | ooo-14 "cherry hill"
4.599 EURO
This Cherry Hill Custom Model OOO commemorates Christian Frederick Martin's move from Manhattan to Cherry Hill in 1839, less than ½ mile from its current location.
It has back and sides made of selected cherry wood and a spruce top. It is bound with flamed maple binding.
The Cherry Hill Custom is equally beautiful to the eyes and ears and represents a significant chapter in Martin's history. This special instrument is made exclusively for Martin dealers who have visited either the factory in Nazareth/USA or Martin at Summit 2024. The CHERRY HILL offers the rare opportunity to own a special instrument with a strong historical connection to the beginnings of C.F. Martin.
Tonally, we would describe this OOO/14 as a ‘fine spirit’. Very balanced across all strings, restrained low mids and therefore a wonderful overtone behaviour. The back of this CHERRY HILL has an almost ‘European’ joint - the focus is not on the look, but on the sound.
