'Our Traditional Series or “T” guitars represent an exciting vintage-inspired variation on the distinctive Collings sound, designed and crafted to showcase the most desirable characteristics of coveted pre-war instruments. Bracing and tonewoods are adjusted for weight and thickness to create a voicing characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, while retaining a quick attack and strong projection.

Our “Traditional” build offers a rounder tone with less shimmery highs and a more open, broken-in feel.

East Indian rosewood back and sides with Sitka spruce top and 2-style Traditional appointments, including ivoroid body binding, small brown herringbone top purfling, gold mother of pearl diamonds & squares inlays, stained exotic ebony peghead veneer, and “zipper” backstrip.
